How big is Inecta & where are you based?

With offices in New York (HQ), Miami, Atlanta, Vancouver, Sydney and New Delhi, we have a global team of sixty-five members dedicated to helping our clients, with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. We recently opened offices in Mexico and Brazil in 2020.

How does Inecta develop its food software solutions?

Inecta is an agile company, with an in-house team of over 30 experienced software developers. Certified ‘Gold’ signals that Inecta has been awarded the highest standard of accreditation by Microsoft for ERP software. By working with an established Gold service provider, your company benefits from the expert knowledge and technical know-how of an established Microsoft partner. Inecta is proud to have achieved a gold standard for over 15 years.

How does Inecta cloud-based software differ from on-premise hardware?

Combining the highest level of data security and real-time accessibility for your team, Inecta is deployed as a cloud-based solution based on the robust platform of Microsoft Business Central. Whether your team is working remotely or on-premises, data is fully accessible through the mobile app or web-browser on any device.

We're looking to change from an old legacy ERP system, how do we ensure that we have correctly scoped out the project? Can Inecta assist in this?

For sure. At the very beginning of the project, we work with your team to map out base requirements and any API requests to ensure that Inecta is connected to all the systems used. If you require custom functionality, our team of developers is ready to assist.

What is the best practice for implementation in multi-site locations?

For multi-site locations, we recommend phased implementation starting with one site at a time. We liken this to a snowball approach, starting with one key operation and building in additional units gradually. In the planning stages, we help you identify opportunities for standardization across your business to improve real-time reporting and data quality.

Does Inecta support EDI communications?

We offer a fully integrated EDI system with the ability to accept and return electronic documents with complete convenience. Inecta is connected to all major retailers including Whole Foods, Walmart, Costco and others. Inecta Food is compatible and already fully integrated into all Microsoft cloud products. Inecta Food can also integrate with any software with an open API.
