Dynamics NAV 2009 Service Pack 1 provides capabilities that allow users to create visual custom controls using programs such as Silverlight.

Data entry enhancements include ability to make calculations in fields, perform single-cell data copying and Excel-like navigation, and filtering improvements include Advanced Search feature that allows customers to search for pages, report views, and other items with Search box. Various keyboard shortcuts have also been added.
